Six areas, one point of contact

Everything a business runs on, in European products. One supplier, one number when something breaks.

  • The workplace
  • Working together online
  • Business software
  • Telephony
  • Internet
  • Security
See what that covers

Market concentration

70%

of the European cloud market sits with three American companies

Not a revolution. A bigger map.

Managed services, hosting, open source software: it is all built here already, and built well. What is missing is not skill but scale. Edano is the same work, drawn on a European map.

Where that number comes from

The pieces are here. The organisation is not.

The specialists, the network and the vendor relationships exist. One party that answers for the whole does not.

Whoever becomes that party sets the price, the terms and the pace. Edano is being built to be it, owned by the companies that do the work.

Shrink into a niche, or pool what you have.

Thresholds you cannot reach
Revenue minimums, three references, indemnity cover.
Compliance that does not scale down
The same reporting duty for six people as for six hundred.
Continuity you cannot promise
24/7 support, and cover when someone leaves.
Terms you cannot negotiate
They negotiate with thousands. You negotiate alone.

Who Edano is for

Edano is being founded now. We are currently mapping who wants to take part, and in what role. Selection and formal incorporation follow.

I am looking for this for my organisation

SME, public sector or large. An open, European IT environment with one party carrying responsibility.

For organisations

Who we are looking for

We take on the collective purchasing and the paperwork. We are looking for the people who build it and keep it running: from workplace to infrastructure to security.

  • Infrastructure builders
  • Developers
  • Workplace management
  • Security
  • Business software
  • Cloud and platform
  • Business intelligence
  • Sales

No target number: ten one-person firms are not three companies of fifty. What is fixed is the pace. Every new member has to be able to get work, so registration is followed by a conversation and a selection.

You do your craft. We do the rest.

The reason small companies stay out of large contracts is rarely technical. It is invoicing, project administration, contracts and tender paperwork. We take that over.

Edano handles

  • Invoicing
  • Project management
  • Legal and contracts
  • Sales
  • Marketing
  • Tenders

You deliver

  • Your knowledge and expertise
  • The products and services you know best
  • From your own company, in your own way

Without the overhead in between, so you can keep doing what you are good at.

And no, we do not take your clients

The cooperative does not compete with its own members. It brings structural work from clients larger than you could ever serve alone. Your own clients stay yours.

What your membership gets you

Four things that are different from the Monday after you join.

Work you are shut out of today

Tenders and framework agreements whose requirements you cannot meet alone. Pooled references and revenue make you eligible.

Deliver together, keep your own company

You deliver your part from your own business. No merger, no takeover, no staff transferring.

Sales you do not have to build

Edano does the acquisition, the tenders and the marketing. That no longer costs you billable hours.

The margin stays inside

No shareholder taking a cut. What is left after costs goes to the companies that did the work.

Where we stand

European from day one. Incorporated under Dutch law, growing into a European Cooperative Society. Wherever in Europe you are, you can take part; the first members come from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France.

A row of European flags in front of a European institution building.

This is where we are

Foundation. Founding members put Edano on paper, then incorporate. From that moment Edano is a legal entity and open for business.

About Edano

The parties the founders already work with

Agreements with European vendors, data centres and open source organisations, already in place. Edano negotiates on top of them for its members. They do not become members themselves.

This list holds only parties that have agreed to be named. It grows as agreements are signed; we would rather show five we can stand behind than eight we cannot.

We fight for the people who make IT work.

Not the vendors who profit from it, but the people who set it up, keep it running and fix it.

What happens after you register

No form that disappears into a drawer. This is the path.

  1. A reply within two working days

A person calls or emails you. Not an autoresponder.

  2. Intake

A conversation about what you do, what you need and whether it fits from both sides.

  3. Go or no-go

A clear answer either way, with the reason. No waiting list without an explanation.

  4. Aspiring member

You deliver through the network from your own company, and you get to know each other in practice.

  5. Full member after one to two years

With a vote, and co-ownership of what you helped build.
