Standards bodies, trade associations, knowledge institutions and public programmes work on the same agenda from a different angle. Edano brings the delivery side: companies that actually build and run this.

We keep the roles separate. Edano is a commercial cooperative and does not sit on the board of a body that sets standards for its own market.

How you come on board

Not settled yet. This is how we see it; the members adopt it at incorporation.

What you supply: Product documentation, licence terms, where it runs or is hosted, your support model with escalation route and a contact with a mandate.
Who assesses it: The board reviews and puts it to the members' meeting. The same route as for a member, because a supplier affects everyone.
How long it takes: A reply within two working days, a decision within eight weeks. Also when the answer is no, with the reason.
No exclusivity, but the sharpest price: We do not ask you to shut anyone out, and we do not promise it ourselves. What we do ask is the price that matches the volume: you negotiate with the members in one go instead of with each of them separately.

We are mapping which products the members can build on before incorporation. A first conversation costs you an hour and commits you to nothing.
