You do not want to end up tied to another single supplier. Edano is a cooperative of the companies that do the work: the mission is in the articles, capital buys no say and a foundation can block a change of course. Independence here is a structure, not a promise.

And none of it has to come from Microsoft or Google. Not one product that does everything, but European products on modern standards that together cover the same ground. We assemble them, host them inside the EU and keep them working as one whole.

Where we want to go with the public sector
A public body can be more than a buyer here. Public and private parties that jointly own a cooperative form a public-private partnership, in which the public side helps decide the course instead of purchasing it.
In time that can go further. Procurement law allows awarding without a tender to an organisation a public body supervises as its own department. Not today: most of our turnover is private, so Edano does not qualify. We name it as a direction.
Honest about our stage
Edano becomes a legal entity in the first quarter of 2027. From that moment the cooperative can sign for itself and is open for business. Until then we are available for market consultations, pilots and conversations, and an assignment runs through the members themselves.
Whether we qualify for a specific tender depends on that tender’s requirements. We discuss that openly, without promises we cannot keep. We do not sell a discount: the gain is in sovereignty, compliance and continuity.
