What we do with your details
This statement covers the details you leave when you register on edano.eu. edano is being founded. As long as the cooperative does not formally exist, BB Open Solutions B.V. is the data controller. Once edano is incorporated, that role transfers and we will update this statement.
What we collect
Only what you enter in the registration form yourself: the role you want to take part in, your name, your email address, and if you provide them your organisation, your country and your message. The form has no other fields.
We use no trackers and no advertising cookies, and the site loads nothing from third parties: fonts, styles and scripts come from our own server. This site sets no cookies.
For visitor numbers we use Plausible, a European service run by Plausible Insights OÜ in Estonia. Per page view Plausible records the page address, the referring site, your browser, your operating system, your device type and the country. That country is derived from your IP address; the IP address itself is not stored. No cookie is placed, nothing is read from or written to your device, and no profile is built. The figures can only be seen in aggregate, never per person.
The measurement script is served from our own server, and measurements travel to Plausible through our own server. Your browser therefore never connects to another domain, and Plausible only sees your IP address because we pass it on for the country lookup. All processing happens within the EU.
Why, and on what basis
We use your details to contact you about taking part in Edano and to assess which role fits you. The legal basis is your consent, given through the checkbox on the form.
For visitor numbers the basis is our legitimate interest in measuring how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not ask consent for it, and we do not have to: nothing is stored on or read from your device, so the cookie rules from the ePrivacy Directive do not apply. That is also why you see no cookie banner.
You can withdraw that consent at any time. This does not affect processing that took place before.
Who can see it
Your registration lands in our own CRM system (Odoo), which runs on European infrastructure and is managed by us. No registration goes to a US service.
For sending email we use a European mail provider. Beyond that we share your details with nobody, unless the law requires it.
How long
We keep your registration for up to two years after the last contact, or shorter if you ask for removal earlier. If you become a member or supplier, the retention periods belonging to that relationship apply from that moment.
Your rights
You may access, correct, delete or transfer your data, and you may object to the processing. Send a request to the address below; we respond within one month.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
